I am glad for American policy now. Exceptionally glad. There's no need to tell the truth to the American people: they don't care. Hey, there's weapons of mass destruction! Yeah, those bad brown people have them. Yes, they're brown like the people who attacked the world trade center so they're all bad. Oh yeah, we knew that they didn't really have weapons of mass destruction, but we couldn't tell you that we wanted to create a colony for oil and military power over those brown people. It's really good that those American people don't care. And we were doing it to help those poor brown skinned folk. That's why we didn't have any plan for electricity, water, medicine or police. It was top of our list. The cholera is just an accidental by product. Just like the military bases that we're setting up until the oil runs out.
Some bad people are brown. Its just a fact. Also, many of those people were sick BEFORE we went to Iraq. We can't blame the U.S. for all the humanitarian issues in the world. As shocking as it may be, many of these nations don't enable their people to get the basic necessities of life. Shall we blame that on the U.S. too, or better yet on President Bush?
Your blog can be summed up with one observation. While I have the guts to put my name on this comment, you don't have the guts to put your name on this site. You're a whiner; immature in your ideology and unwilling to face up to the personal criticism. Your blog will carry no weight until you step up and take it on the chin. Josh Marshall should be your example here- he's a liberal who is wrong on almost everything but at least he puts his name on his site. Tony Pierce would be ashamed.

Randy- khmm...can you read the above post again?
I think you umm...how do I say it...
oh, wait, I got it: didn't get the POINT of the message, focusing instead on the POINT OF VIEW of the writer. The point of the message is that bush got us into the war under wrong pretenses, that there was no intelligence that signified Iraq as a threat, and that there is NO connection between Saddam and 9/11. And now people are dying, both ours and theirs, for nothing. And the worst part is that the american public seems to be blind to this. Come on, now.
Disclaimer: I use a pseudonym here because I personally know one of the bloggers, and for the sake of humor want to see how long it will take him to figure out who I am:-)
FYI- this person is far from immature in his ideology, and even further from being unable to face personal criticism.

Indeed, there are bad people of all colors -- even purple and orange. In case you missed it, my point was that because there are bad brown people, NOT all bad people are brown, and it does NOT justify us invading and bombing. However, if I understand your post -- you seem to think that since Iraq had problems before we invaded that we have no responsibility for adding to those problems? Wow. I am slain by your logic; I fall upon my sword in defeat and give up. It makes me weep.
